John M. Brangwin


John graduated with honors from Gonzaga University with a Juris Doctorate degree. He is admitted to practice in all Washington State courts. His focus is criminal defense, DUIs, and injury cases.  John is a member of the national DUI Defense Lawyers Association, is certified in the NHTSA Field Sobriety Tests and a factory trained operator of breath test instruments.  He is a member and former Governor of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Washington State Association for Justice.  John’s peers previously recognized him as a Rising Star, through WA Law & Politics magazine, in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

John has defended thousands of criminal charges in his career and represented hundreds of injured clients.  After graduating law school, he was first hired to perform public defense work for those charged in the City of Wenatchee.  In 2002, John joined Steve Woods forming Woods & Brangwin, PLLC (which would eventually become Woods, Brangwin & Bratton, PLLC).  John concentrates his criminal practice on DUI defense and related offenses.  He is widely recognized as a preeminent and elite DUI defense lawyer with substantial training and experience.
